2015 JSC- Achieving results

The 2015 Joint Stakeholders Conference of three ACP-EU co-operation programmes, of which two financed under the 10th EDF and BUDGET: EDULINK II and the ACP-Science & Technology Programme (S&T II), and one under the 10th EDF only: the ACP Caribbean & Pacific Research Programme for Sustainable Development will be organised on 7th & 8th of July 2015 in Brussels

As the previous Joint Stakeholders Conference in April 2014, the event will be held in the ACP House, Avenue Georges Henri 451, 1200 Brussels, Belgium.

The aim of the 2015 conference is to bring together grant beneficiaries of these three programmes to network and share experiences on project management, with a particular focus on results, collaboration and administration.

These two days will put attention on the practical aspects of ensuring projects’ expected results, impact and sustainability within the global development framework of improving the quality of learning and innovation that is paramount to achieving the desired inclusive development and economic goals in the ACP Member States. 

This joint stakeholders’ conference will provide an opportunity for participants to strengthen new and existing ties and will focus on strengthening the networks of ACP and EU higher education and research communities.

The event is set up in two days, with presentations from project participants and invited speakers followed by open discussions:   

  • The first day will mainly focus on the topic "Achieving results": some project presentations on year 1 experiences will be delivered, an overview of programme objectives and results to date will be offered and discussion sessions on "Mechanisms and experiences in ensuring sustainability of results/valorisation of results" will be organised. 
  • The second day will address, through 2 different discussion sessions, the challenges met in consortia, and experiences and recommendations on Narrative and financial reporting.

Bilateral meetings between the Technical Assistance Units of the three programmes, the European Commission and the representatives of the beneficiary projects will be arranged during the whole Conference.
