The recently concluded ACP S&TII SADC CWR project has the pleasure to announce the virtual launch of a new interactive toolkit for Crop  Wild Relative Conservation Planning that has been  developed by Bioversity International and the University of Birmingham, under the project. This toolkit will guide national programmes on planning the conservation of crop wild relatives as this valuable source of diversity is being threatened with extinction. The Launch has been planned to coincide with the holding of the Governing Body meeting of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture, which is currently being held in Rwanda.
