The ‘One Health One Caribbean One Love’ has recently had various opportunities to present their project on various television channels in the Caribbean. These interviews were held at the same time the project was holding its workshops with representatives from the whole Caribbean region. The understanding of the interaction between environmental, animal and human health issues is recognised as a vital necessity to be able to cope with the outbreak and spread of diseases and improve the health of the ecosystem, animals and human beings. Raising awareness of this topic is a key message of this project. This includes the launch of a ListenMi Feature on the topic of One Health by Bay-C, the bass vocalist from platinum-selling Jamaican dancehall/reggae quartet, TOK, who is the One Health's Celebrity Patron. ListenMi news is a creative way in which Bay-C uses his musical influence to create awareness about issues of global concern which are sometimes overlooked. ListenMi has previously done political pieces, as well as segments on educating the public about avoiding infections with Zika and Chikungunya (Chik-V) viruses.
